We are currently operating as CANBE, a beach lifestyle brand.
We handle all aspects of our store, from website creation, purchasing, inspection, packaging, and shipping, so that you can be happy when you see our products and happy when you receive them.

How CANBE was born - Yearning for the celebrity lifestyle overseas...
During his first year of high school, he studied abroad in the United States and became obsessed with the reality show "The Simple Life" that was on at the time!
I fell in love with Paris Whitney Hilton and Nicole Camille Richie, who appeared in the show, and before I knew it, I was admiring and following their fashion and lifestyle. They are simply gorgeous!!!
I grew up in the countryside, so their lifestyle and fashion was a shock to me!
The fashion style that particularly caught our eye was the maxi dress they wore.
Before I knew it, I too had fallen in love with maxi dresses, and I would order them from all over the world and always buy at least three maxi dresses whenever I traveled abroad.
I think there are trends every year, but I love maxi dresses all year round.
I don't care about trends and I love enjoying the fashion style I like.
Just wearing a maxi dress will make you look incredibly stylish.

It can be worn not only in the city but also at parties, and is perfect for cafes and brunch at stylish hotels.

CANBE is a shop I started because I love summer and maxi dresses, and it's filled with my passion and selects the things I love.
Originally, we were a store specializing in maxi dresses, but we received requests from customers to open a store where they could coordinate their outfits in total, so we are now operating as a resort fashion store.
How CANBE was born - I was impressed by the mail order system...
I went to the United States in 2003, and while I was there I became obsessed with another thing.
Mail order shopping was not as commonplace in Japan as it is today.
At the time, accessories with one's initials on them were popular, and I really wanted a sky blue long wallet with the letter N on it.
I went looking for it in many shopping malls, but couldn't find it... Just when I was about to give up, I searched on the online shopping site eBay and found it!
I didn't know what it was, so I just entered my address and credit card information and placed an order!
A few days later, it was just sitting in the entrance.
That was my first purchase on the online store.
The excitement at that time!!!
At the time, I didn't even know it was available online, but I was so desperate to get it that I was completely captivated.
The joy of finally getting what I had been looking for for so long. It was the moment I realized how amazing mail order is!
After returning to Japan, I learned how to use a computer and before I knew it, I wanted to run my own online shopping site.
I got a job at a company that runs an online shopping site, and worked as a store manager for three years while I was preparing to go independent.
However, I had been thinking about what to sell for a few years since I left my previous job...

How CANBE was born - It started after a serious injury...
In March 2012, I broke my spine while snowboarding and spent half a year in bed.
In October 2012, I tore my ACL while wakeboarding and was once again bedridden.
After suffering two serious injuries in one year, I thought it was time to start working for myself, so I decided to find a job where I could use my experience and work with the things I love!
After the injury gave me a boost, I was able to move forward quickly.
Once I was fully recovered, I immediately flew to the US and made purchases in Los Angeles and Hawaii.
Hear about the brand's concept directly from local people, and see and touch the actual products before making your selection.
Things started moving in October 2012, and CANBE was born in March 2013.
How CANBE was born - The origin of the store name...
The store name CANBE comes from CAN (can do) BE (want to do, want to become).
I want this to be a store where you can become who you want to be and do what you want to do.
CANBE has just started, but we are already meeting many customers every day and receiving many positive feedback.
Together with my staff, I will do my best to bring smiles to our customers! Thank you for your continued support.
